Citrix of Cambridge Science Park have donated seven computers to Cambridge Cyrenians to be used by our residents.
The donated computers will either be installed in new accommodation being provided by Cambridge Cyrenians or will replace and upgrade existing equipment, ensuring that all Cyrenians residents have internet access in their accommodation. This access helps residents to search for jobs and housing, bid for social housing, apply for benefits, or use the on-line training provided for free by Cambridge Cyrenians, as well as help with budgeting and managing their money.
Brian Holman, Manager at Cambridge Cyrenians said: “We would really like to thank the staff at Citrix for their help. It’s crucially important that the homeless people we support can access the on-line services that will help them as they work towards moving on and living independently.”
