Cambridge Cyrenians was founded in 1970 to provide accommodation and support to single, homeless, men and women in Cambridge. We currently provide 71 bedspaces in 11 houses across the City. As an independent charity we work with other agencies in providing social housing, care and associated services to meet the needs of the user group. To find out more click here

Accommodation is provided in small shared houses, where residents are encouraged to take responsibility for their own lives, rather than large hostels. It is vital that we do not take away their ability to have constructive influence over their surroundings. An important feature of our houses is the input residents have in the decisions affecting their house. Our goal is to provide help for the person as well as their situation. By combining individual personal support with provision of acccomodation we strive for long term solutions rather than quick fixes...learn more about ouaccomodation service

Volunteering We rely heavily on volunteers who are recruited locally, nationally and from all over the world. They can be residential, full time, or just give their time when they can. Volunteers, assisted by staff members, help our clients directly while at the same time developing their own personal, practical  and vocational skills. Find out more
