Cambridge Cyrenians are looking to recruit a:

Mental Health Worker (CPN/RMN)

£26,549 – £28,305

Cambridge Cyrenians is a well-established local charity, providing accommodation and support to homeless men and women in the city for nearly 50 years.

With homelessness on the increase we are seeing significant numbers of men and women with mental health issues that are not being addressed and which are preventing them from moving on. Cambridge Cyrenians wish to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Worker to support many of these individuals. Experience is not necessary, but a commitment to enable positive change in your clients’ lives is.

Working as part of a small team based at our city centre office, the post holder will assist residents of our accommodation services who they assess as needing mental health support, helping them to prepare for living independently and to access services considered to be beneficial to the client. Clients will not require a formal diagnosis in order to receive support.

The post offers:

37 hour working week
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days
Clinical supervision
NMC Pin number paid for
Continuous learning and development
Opprtunity to shape an exciting new role

The post is funded by the Big Lottery Fund until July 2021. For further information about the post please contact Brian Holman on 01223 712501 or Emma Hooton on 01223 712502.

Emailed applications are preferred, but an application pack can be obtained by calling 01223 712501 or emailing office@cambridgecyrenians.org.uk

Closing date for applications: 10am 30th May.  Interviews: W/b 5th June.
